Overview

Why our upvc windows stand apart

uPVC is the modern standard for windows and doors in India — rigid, UV-stabilised, and completely immune to termites, rot, and corrosion. Our multi-chamber profiles create a thermal and acoustic barrier that keeps homes cooler and quieter, while tight EPDM weather seals lock out monsoon rain and dust. Every frame is fabricated and quality-checked in our workshop, then installed by trained fitters.

Benefits

Engineered for how you actually live and build.

Termite & rot proof

uPVC does not feed insects or absorb moisture, so it never rots, swells, or gets eaten — unlike wood.

Lower power bills

Multi-chamber profiles and tight seals cut heat gain by up to 40%, easing the load on your AC.

Quieter rooms

Sealed sashes and the right glass dramatically reduce traffic and street noise indoors.

Monsoon-tight

EPDM gaskets and engineered drainage keep wind-driven rain and dust out, year after year.

30-year design life

UV-stabilised profiles resist Tamil Nadu sun without yellowing, warping, or fading.

Low maintenance

No painting or polishing — just a wipe with a damp cloth a couple of times a year.

Process

How we deliver your upvc windows

  1. 1

    Profile selection

We recommend the chamber count, reinforcement, and glass for your room, climate exposure, and budget.

  2. 2

    Precise measurement

Openings are measured to the millimetre so each frame fits cleanly with proper clearances.

  3. 3

    Workshop fabrication

Profiles are cut, the corners fusion-welded, steel inserted, and hardware fitted — checked at every joint.

  4. 4

    Sealed installation

Frames are levelled, anchored, and sealed; we test every sash and hand over a clean, working window.

FAQ

uPVC Windows — your questions answered

What is uPVC and how is it different from regular PVC?
uPVC stands for un-plasticised polyvinyl chloride. Unlike flexible PVC, it contains no plasticisers, making it rigid, durable, and dimensionally stable — ideal for window and door frames. It will not warp, rot, corrode, or attract termites, and it withstands heat, humidity, and salt air far better than wood or aluminium.
How long do uPVC windows last in Indian climatic conditions?
Quality uPVC windows last 25–30 years or more in Indian conditions. The profiles are UV-stabilised for tropical sun, resist Chennai’s humidity and coastal salt air, and need only basic cleaning. We supply profiles engineered specifically for the Indian climate.
Do uPVC windows turn yellow in Chennai’s heat?
Premium uPVC profiles are UV-stabilised with titanium dioxide and will not yellow under Indian sun. Yellowing only occurs with low-grade, non-stabilised profiles. We use branded, UV-resistant profiles backed by manufacturer warranties.
How do uPVC windows reduce my electricity bill?
The multi-chamber profile and tight weather seals create a thermal barrier that slows heat transfer into your home. Paired with the right glass (such as Low-E or double glazing), this reduces heat gain by up to 30–40%, lowering the load on air conditioning and your monthly bill.
What is the difference between a 3-chamber and 5-chamber uPVC profile?
Chambers are the hollow air cavities inside the profile. More chambers mean better thermal and acoustic insulation and greater rigidity. A 3-chamber profile suits most homes; a 5-chamber profile is recommended for high-rise buildings, very noisy locations, or where maximum energy efficiency is the goal.
Can I customise the colour of uPVC windows?
Yes. Beyond standard white, uPVC is available in cream, beige, grey, and wood-finish laminates (such as golden oak and walnut). Laminated finishes are bonded to the profile and do not peel or fade.
Are uPVC windows suitable for high-rise buildings?
Yes. With steel-reinforced profiles, toughened glass, and correct wind-load design, uPVC windows are widely used in high-rise residential and commercial towers. We calculate the right profile and reinforcement for the building height and wind zone.
How are uPVC windows maintained?
Maintenance takes about ten minutes a year: wipe the frames with a damp cloth and mild soap, check that drainage holes are clear, and occasionally lubricate the rollers and hinges. uPVC never needs painting, sealing, or polishing.
Can uPVC windows be repaired if damaged?
Yes. Individual components — rollers, handles, gaskets, locks, and even single glass panes — can be replaced without removing the whole window. This is far easier and cheaper than repairing wooden or aluminium frames.
Are uPVC windows approved by Indian standards (BIS)?
Reputable uPVC profiles conform to BIS standards (including IS 10974 for uPVC windows). We supply profiles from manufacturers that meet these standards, and we can provide documentation on request.
What are the disadvantages of uPVC windows?
The main considerations are that very large spans may need steel reinforcement, low-grade profiles can yellow (which is why brand matters), and the colour palette, while wide, is more limited than painted surfaces. For most Indian homes the long-term benefits clearly outweigh these points.
uPVC sliding or casement windows — which should I choose?
Sliding windows are space-saving and ideal where there is no room for a sash to swing out — balconies, passages, and compact rooms. Casement windows open fully outward for maximum ventilation and the tightest weather seal, suiting bedrooms and living rooms. Many homes combine both.
